Summer Time, Watch Your Skin Care !
It’s summer time ! During this hot/warm weather you need different care for your skin type, there are several things you can do to protect your lovely skin or make it even better. Since it’s summer, the humidity can double the facial production of oil, this will come to result with bigger pores and oil thicker for your face, and you don’t want this to happen when you have oily type of skin.
The trick for oily face is that to leave your cleanser on for 10 - 15 seconds longer than usual, then after that you can wash and rinse follow with an astringent. You can use daily wash with salicylic acid for the rest of the body, it would be great to exfoliate twice a week with scrub or salt. Please don’t use sunscreens with an SPF higher than 30, since this formula tend to be very emollient. If you need to find gel formula, try to find the one with “physical block” label.
For those of you who have dry skin, you should exfoliate more frequently. See dermatologist if your skin is flaky to rule out a yeast-induced rash common in summer. You can exfoliate in the shower to remove your scaly patches on your body, then apply some cream to make it soft. Dry skin needs more oil, so you should choose sunscreen with creamy base, don’t use gel, they often contain more alcohol than can further dry your skin.
